Tour Plan
Fly to Arusha then drive 2.5–3h to Tarangire. Afternoon game drive among baobabs and elephants. Overnight at a lodge near the park.
Focus on river systems that attract huge herds in the dry season; lion and leopard frequent the woodlands. Optional night drive may be available (camp-dependent).
Morning game drive then drive 3–4h to Ngorongoro. Settle into a highlands lodge; cool evenings and forest sounds.
Early descent to beat the crowds; exceptional photography and diversity. Picnic lunch at a scenic spot. Return to rim.
Short drive to Manyara for forest drives and lakeshore birding; tree-climbing lions are a special, though rare, sight. Overnight near the park.
Drive back to Arusha for your flight to Zanzibar.
